An invitation to help preserve a part of North Carolina's legacy

The Beaufort Historical Foundation provides deserved support to the Association. The Beaufort Historical Foundation would like to invite generous donors to provide a lasting gift to help preserve and promote awareness of the history and architecture of this quaint seaport town for generations to come.

The goal of the Beaufort Historical Foundation is to engage new generations of philanthropists to provide needed support to the Beaufort Historical Association on an annual basis. The Beaufort Historical Association thrives through donations which fund the operations of the organization and the maintenance of the buildings on the two-acre Site. The Foundation seeks to preserve the sense of place that distinguishes Beaufort.

Educational programs, fudraising events and tours take place year-round on the Site for over 60,000 out-of-state visitors, students and the community. With buildings ranging from 1732 through 1859, maintenance is of utmost importance as their presence on the Site preservews the history of Beaufort and makes the past come to life for our many visitors.
